Chairperson of Warri South Local Government Area, Mrs. Juliet Tidi, has congratulated Wife of Delta State Governor and Founder of 05 Initiative, Dame Edith Okowa, on the occasion of the celebration of her birthday tomorrow, Monday June 1, saying the State First Lady has positively impacted on the lives of Deltans through her pet project.
Mrs. Tidi, in a press statement issued Sunday May 31, mentioned the establishment of sickle cell clinics across various local government areas in the state, including that in Warri South Local Government Area ready for inauguration, as some of the people - driven and well managed health - care programmes that Dame Edith Okowa, through the 05 Initiative, has greatly impacted Deltans.
Wife of the Warri South Chairman, Mrs. Tidi, equally mentioned donations to various orphanages as well as assistance to inmates across the Federal Correctional Centres in the state, through the strategic policies of the 05 Initiative, as other means through which the governor's wife continue to reach out to the disadvantaged in the society.
While expressing confidence that God will continually bless Dame Okowa in all her endeavours as a result of her kind gesture towards the needy and other categories of persons in the state, Mrs. Tidi, assured the First Lady that her office will not relent in the resolve to ensure sustained success of the 05 Initiative in Warri South Local Government Area.
