A member of the three-man gang allegedly responsible for the murder of two women in Ughelli, Delta State within the last two weeks, have been killed and burnt to death by Ekiugbo Vigilante, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.

The dare-devil rapist cum assailant was nabbed at about 10:00am (Wednesday June 29) when he, alongside the other two members of the notorious and deadly gang attempted to kill another sales girl in the Ekiugbo Area of Ughelli where they chopped off the eyes of another sales girl two days ago (Monday June 27).

Feelers from Ughelli say the hoodlum met his waterloo when the sales girl he hit with a sharp object on her head right inside her shop, grabbed him while trying to unleash hammer on her and screamed in agony.

According to sources, it was the yelling of the sales girl that made the other two members of the gang who were on a motorcycle to speed off.

The scream by the sales girl attracted sympathizers and members of Ekiugbo Vigilante, who immediately rushed to the scene and apprehended the hoodlum.

The vigilantes reportedly killed the suspect and set him ablaze before Policemen got to the scene.

Fresh Angle International learned that the scene of Wednesday’s gory incident is about 3km away from where the three-man gang plucked off the eyes of another sales girl on Monday June 27. Though earlier reports indicated that the sales girl attacked on Monday died, it has however been gathered that she survived after medics promptly conducted operation on her two eyes.

It would be recalled that two ladies were murdered in separate shops in Ughelli in the last two weeks, with one taking place at the Afiesere Area of the Town.
