Warri is secure, safe for investors-Tidi assures

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Michael Tidi says Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State is secure and safe for genuine investors willing to do business in Warri area.

 

Hon. Michael Tidi gave the assurance Monday February 12 at his office in Warri South Council Main Secretariat, Warri during the swearing-in of five new supervisors for Warri South Council.

 

The supervisors are saddled with the responsibility of supporting Hon. Tidi in the task of building a more prosperous Warri South Local Government Area.

 

 

The Warri South Council Boss while swearing-in the new supervisors, charged them to be ready to serve the people, noting that since his administration took over mantle of leadership, he has been working to hit the ground running.

 

 

While acknowledging the effort of the immediate past administration for making Warri one of the cleanest cities in the State, Hon. Tidi assured that his administration will leverage on that and improve on it.

 

 

He charged the newly sworn-in supervisors to block all revenue leakages and make sure there is improvement in the Council IGR, even as he enjoined the supervisors to bring new ideas that will ensure the progress of Warri South.

 

 

Tidi urged the supervisors to work with him in-line with his campaign promises made to the good people of Warri South, which is anchored on the acronym, PEACHES+I.

 

 

According to him, the acronym PEACHES+I means: Peace, Education, Agriculture, Clean and Safe Environment, Health Care, Economic Empowerment, Security + Infrastructure.

 

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the five new Warri South Council Supervisors are: Okpako Elvis Eboh- Supervisor for Health, Patricia Edun- Supervisor for Environment, Henry Mayuku- Supervisor for Agriculture, Linda Eya Ikpuri- Supervisor for Education & Shegue Gboneso- Supervisor for Youth, Sports/Community Development.

Elvis Okpako Eboh and Linda Eya Ikpuri who responded on behalf of other supervisors, assured the Warri South Council Boss of their support to make the administration succeed.

 

Eboh thanked the Council Chairman, Hon. Tidi and other PDP leaders for giving them the opportunity to serve.
