Warri South gets new SLG: He's a product of Divine Grace -Tidi

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Hon. Michael Tidi on Wednesday February 28 administered oath of office to the new Secretary to Warri South Local Government, SLG, Mr. Oribioye Joseph Uwale.                

Hon. Tidi who disclosed that the choice of Mr. Oribioye Uwale was a product of Divine Grace, noted that he needed someone that would compliment the efforts of other members of the council executive and found that the new SLG with his wealth of experience in the local government service fits in perfectly.    

While emphasizing the need for the new SLG and other members of the council executive to inject fresh ideas that will drive the local government council forward, Hon. Tidi averred that efforts were ongoing to rejig the administrative structure in the council with a view to delivering on his electoral promises which is in line with Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa's SMART agenda.          

He harped on the need for sacrifice from everyone in the quest to deliver efficient service to people of Warri South.                

The newly sworn-in Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Oribioye Uwale, promised to give his best in driving the goals of the Tidi administration and assured that he will not betray the confidence reposed in him.

Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa, some principal officers of Warri South Legislative Arm, Supervisors as well as Head of Personnel Management and Treasurer to the Local Government graced the official Oath taking which held at the newly renovated office of Warri South Local Government Chairman in Warri.
