Rural Education: We've supported over 1,000 pupils-NGO

A Non-Governmental Organization, Delta Pikin Initiative says it has supported over 1,000 pupils across Nigeria in the task of boosting rural education.

Chief Executive Officer / Founder of Delta Pikin Initiative, Blessing Erhuvwu Enyamuke made the declaration Monday March 12 when they distributed books, school uniforms, sandals and other school aids to pupils of Amwane Primary School, Okwuwo in Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State.

Miss Enyamuke promised that they will go round schools in Delta State and other parts of the country. 

According to Miss Enyamuke, Delta Pikin Initiative which has three tiers, is a Beetasha Inspired Education and Foundation initiative also dealing with rural women empowerment and promoting entrepreneurship through skill acquisition.

While disclosing that they have also rendered assistance to nursing mothers, fed people on the streets in Lagos State as well as gave helping hands to the less privileged in the society, even as she appealed to government agencies, concerned citizens and friends to support the project.

The project head of Delta Pikin Initiative, Pastor Caleb Ivworin stressed that their aim was to assist people in rural areas, especially those in rural schools.
