Leadership of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG has appealed to the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi to grant them approval to beautify Esisi Roundabout in Okere, Mciver Roundabout and Cemetery Roundabout by Odion Road.

National President of NAIG, Comrade Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema made the plea Wednesday March 28 when he led other executive members of the association as well as the leadership of National Association of Itsekiri Students, NAIS on a courtesy visit to the Warri South Council Boss, Hon. Tidi.

While commending Hon. Tidi for his interest in reviving the economy of Warri, especially his directive on second-hand clothes traders to vacate Odion Road by Mciver and relocate to Pessu Market, he applauded the move by the local government executive to construct firefighting station along the Ubeji-Ifie Road in Warri and appealed to Hon. Tidi to carry the private sector along in the planned Warri South Local Government Council Economic Summit.

The Warri South Council Chief Security Officer who commended the symbiotic relationship between NAIG and NAIS, enjoined the Itsekiri graduates’ body to support his administration’s internally generated revenue drive, insisting that is the only way the council can meet its obligation to the people.

While calling on NAIG to embark on operation Keep Warri Clean advocacy campaign, Hon. Tidi acknowledged, “beautification of Roundabouts in Warri by NAIG is one burden off me”.
