Senate 2019: Uduaghan will run, DAWN refutes withdrawal speculation
Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan

The Development Advocates of Warri North, DAWN, has refuted speculations in some quarters that Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan may not run for the Delta South Senatorial seat in 2019, insisting that when the ex-Delta State governor eventually declare his intention, "it will be an unstoppable movement".

Coordinator of DAWN, Mr. Amaju Inojulagho who spoke to newsmen shortly after the group's monthly sensitization engagement with select-electorates from Warri North, Warri South and Warri South -West Local Government Areas at a hotel in Warri, noted “as a man of details and strategy, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan is only crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. Dr. Uduaghan who is presently the most senior party (PDP) man from Delta South is not expected to act in same manner as others who are playing to the gallery in the name of seeking electoral position".

The group which has hinged its support for Dr. Uduaghan on the principle of “education and mobilization”, assured supporters of the former governor that he will yield to the calls and declare for Delta South Senatorial race soonest.
