Children's Day: Warri South Chairperson, Tidi donates to orphans

Wife of Warri South Local Government Chairman, Mrs. Juliet Tidi alongside Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa, Majority Leader of Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Princess Lebi Yonwuren, wife of Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mrs. Loretta Oribioye, Supervisor for Environment, Patricia Edun, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli and other prominent women of the council, on Sunday May 27 donated food items, toiletries and other consumables to orphans at Potter's House and Under His Wings Daughters' Orphanages in Warri in commemoration of this year's children's day.                   

The items include: cartons of noodles, gallons of vegetable and palm oil, detergents, cartons of biscuits, bags of rice and beans as well as fruit drinks valued at hundreds of thousand.          

Making the donation, an emotion laden Mrs. Juliet Tidi , expressed gratitude to God for giving her the opportunity to increase her usual largesse to orphans and the underprivileged.                        

Warri South Vice Chairman, Mrs. Divine Iniovosa assured that they will continue to visit the orphanages to extend love to the needy.                  

The Director of Potter's House Orphanage, Mrs. Vallery Etuwewe and the Supervisor of Under His Wings Daughters' Orphanage, Bishop Oghenevwede Abiye Sibi, who spoke on behalf of Arch Bishop Mike Okah, prayed God to bless the Warri South Local Government Council delegation in all their endeavours and appealed to Warri South Chairman, Hon. Michael Tidi to assist in getting access road to the permanent site of Under His Wings Daughters' Orphanage.
