The newly elected President of Omadino Employment Development Association, OEDA in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Francis Niro Omaro has promised  to use his position to attract development and  empower the youths in the community through skill acquisition centre built by Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC.

Omaro gave the assurance Tuesday May 29 at Omadino Community during his acceptance speech after polling 137 votes to defeat his fellow contestant, Tsaninomi Eric, who garnered 52 votes.

While promising to sustain the prevailing peaceful environment in Omadino so as to encourage investors, the new OEDA President appealed to those who are aggrieved to forget about their grievances and join hands with his leadership in the task of developing the oil-rich Omadino Community.

According to him, the court ordered them to conduct election within 30 days with effect from May 10 when the judgement was handed down by a Warri South Area Customary Court.

He thanked Omadino people for giving him and his executive the mandate to serve the community for the next four years as stipulated in their constitution and promised to work with the Delta State Government, Warri South Local Government as well as Multi National Oil Companies operating in Omadino land with a view to achieving the much needed development.
