Make your campaigns issue based, Olu of Warri advises aspirants

The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has advised those seeking political offices in Delta State and beyond to make their campaigns issue based in order to champion the needed development to people of the area.

The Warri Monarch gave the charge Thursday May 31 during a consultation visit by Comrade Sheriff Mulade to his Palace in Warri, Delta State.

He urged Comrade Mulade to take his campaign across board and make sure he carries everybody along, irrespective of tribe.

Ogiame Ikenwoli prayed for Comrade Mulade and wished him well in his quest to represent Warri South-West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly come 2019.

In his response, Comrade Sheriff Mulade disclosed that he came to inform the Olu of Warri of his intention to contest for House of Assembly seat, noting that he has been in the forefront of issue based campaign and unity between Ijaws and Itsekiris of Warri South-West.

He described the Olu of Warri as a First Class Monarch whose role is very important for the better way forward in Warri Kingdom, just as he commended the King for supporting the federal government in the proposed plan to dredge the Warri-Excravos River.

Ogbe- Ijoh Market Women have also joined their voices in assuring total victory for Comrade Sheriff Mulade and appealed to the PDP to give Comrade Mulade the ticket to represent Warri South-West.

The Ogbe-Ijoh Market Women leader, Mummy Temi Werinide prayed for the success of Comrade Mulade in the 2019 election.
