Immediate past Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru has emerged as PDP flag bearer for Warri South Constituency 2 seat in the 2019 polls.
Opuoru a former Commissioner in DESOPADEC,polled 32 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chief Vincent Okudolo who scored 30 votes in the keenly contested primary.
Rev. David Otofia reportedly came a distant third with seven votes.
