2019: Emiko, Ejegi emerge as APC parallel candidates for Warri South 1

All Progressives Congress, APC candidate in the April 26, 2017, Warri South Constituency 1 Bye-Election, Prince Stanley Oritsemolebi Emiko as well as former employee of Chevron Nigeria Limited, Engr. Sunny Demi-Ejegi have reportedly emerged parallel candidates of the APC for Warri South Constituency 1 ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Fresh Angle International gathered that Prince Stanley Emiko polled 107 votes to defeat Sunny Demi Ejegi, who scored 44 votes in the party primary reportedly conducted at the Rewane Villa, Warri, Friday October 5, while Sunny Ejegi scored 146 votes to defeat Prince Stanley Emiko, who got 6 votes in the parallel congress held on Saturday October 6 at the same venue.

A total of 169 delegates were accredited by a 3-man panel in the primary that produced Stanley Emiko as APC candidate for Warri South Constituency 1 in the 2019 polls.

The panel was reportedly led by Mr. Billy Egbe as the Returning Officer, just as the total votes cast was 164 and 13 void votes recorded.

Meanwhile, 153 delegates participated in the primary that saw Engr. Sunny Ejegi emerging as APC candidate.

An APC Chieftain in Warri South Local Government, Mr. Esimaje Awani told Our Senior Correspondent that Mario Owumi, one of the APC Chairmen in Warri South and six ward chairmen of the party, participated in the primary, which saw the “State Returning Officer” Stanley Iyonsi declaring Engr. Sunny Demi Ejegi as the duly elected All Progressives Congress candidate for Warri South constituency 1 ahead of the 2019 polls.

Your Soaring International Tabloid can report that Prince Stanley Emiko and Engr. Sunny Ejegi battled for the soul of the party ticket in the April 2017 Warri South Constituency 1 Bye-Election, before the party leadership reached consensus to form a common front.
