Itsekiri Community Welders, Filters set agenda for Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari

Welders and Filters in Itsekiri oil-rich Omadino Community, Warri South Local Government Area, under the aegis of Omadino Welders and Filters Association, OWFA, has enjoined the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration to sustain work on the Omadino-Escravos Road Project and Warri-Odidi Gas Pipeline among others, saying it will ensure “enduring peace in our area”.

OWFA in a statement signed by its President and Assistant Secretary, Comrades Kennedy Ugbameta and Omasanjuwa Oghanrandukun respectively, congratulated President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo for their re-election, praying God to grant the duo “more wisdom to successfully perform the all-important duties of repositioning the country to Next Level of greatness”.

While also felicitating with National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Deputy Director 2, Election Planning & Monitoring of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Ayirimi Emami for the re-election of President Buhari, the Itsekiri Community Welders and Filters expressed optimism that the current infrastructural and human capital development through the Presidential Amnesty Programme, N-Power programme, Tradermoni and pipeline surveillance programme will be sustained.

They restated their call for the establishment of Welding and Filtering Skill Acquisition Centre in their locality, even as they tasked International Oil Companies operating in Omadino land to strictly respect the Nigeria Content Act.
