The Chairman of Obada Kara Market, Sabo in Oyo town, Alhaji Waheed Ishola Bulah, has cried out over lack of lock-up shops, street light, borehole and good access road to Obada Kara Market, saying the poor infrastructural state of the market is affecting business activities.
Alhaji Waheed who expressed his frustration during an exclusive chat with Our Oyo State Correspondent, appealed to authorities of Atiba Local Government Council in the state, to provide modern lock-up shops, street light and borehole in Obada Kara Market as well as construct good access road to the market.
A stretch of Obada Kara Road in deplorable state
According to Waheed, Obada Kara Market is one of the best in Oyo State, “due to the in-flocks of people from different parts of the state to transact business with each other in the market”.
He added that the road that links Obada and Sabo in Isale-Oyo State, is in deplorable condition and in urgent need of repair.
The Head of Miyetti Allah in the area, Alhaji Wakili Wadili, who spoke in the same vein, pleaded with the Atiba Local Government Authority, to expedite action on the Obada-Sabo Road.
