Fresh Angle International can exclusively report that players of Warri Wolves FC, Warri in Delta State are lamenting the nonpayment of their six months’ salary, match bonuses and sign- on-fees despite currently occupying 12th position in the Nigerian Professional League in-spite of three outstanding matches and escaping the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup narrowly by conceding an own goal.
Investigation by Our Correspondent reveals that players of the club who live in the camp along the NPA Expressway, Ugbuwangue in Warri, always go across the expressway to get basic need like water and no proper electricity is connected to the camp.
A few of the players who have tested playing for National Teams and have some level of financial strength often stay in hotels because of the poor state of the team's camp, while those who cannot afford hotel accommodation grapple with near zero power supply and mosquito.
