Renowned Niger Delta Activist and stalwart of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Ayirimi Emami has formally dumped The Ugborodo Export Processing Zone, EPZ Interface Committee, hinging his decision on “very busy and tight schedule”.
The businessman cum philanthropist who occasionally expressed divergent views with the leadership of the Ugborodo EPZ Interface Committee, particularly on the naming of The proposed Deep Seaport in Warri South -West Local Government Area during the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, disclosed his intention to dump the committee in a letter addressed to The EPZ Committee Chairman.
The letter dated September 5,2016,reads in part, “my resignation is as a result of my very busy and tight schedule”, adding, “since my nomination into the EPZ Interface Committee is from Ajudaibo Community, I humbly wish to nominate Mr. Christian Akpieyi from the same Ajudaibo community as a replacement”.
He pledged to make his services available at any time, if called upon to do so.
