The Delta State Command of Nigeria Police has warned members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB against alleged plan to embark on a protest in Delta State tomorrow, Friday September 23.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, SP. Celestina Kalu, the Police noted that it's personnel have been fully briefed on the SOP and rules of engagement, stressing that men and officers of the command have been deployed and detailed to deal ruthlessly with any person or group of persons who attempt to cause a breach of peace for whatever reason.

The statement advised parents and guardians to warm their children /wards not to embark on any form of protest.

 In another development, there was mild drama at Ajamimogha by Link Road Junction in Warri at about 12:10 pm Thursday (today) when the victim of robbery, whose money and other personal effects, including the key of his Jeep, mobilized some persons around the gunpoint and chased the armed robbers with a Camry car, the same brand of car the gunmen operated with.
