Don’t drag our Kingdom to the mud, President cautions taskforce, sanitation committee

President of Okere Urhobo Development Movement, OUDM, in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Comrade Cyril Eboh has cautioned members of the newly inaugurated Okere Urhobo Taskforce led by Comrade Ochuko  Maduku and the Sanitation Committee not to drag the name of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom to the mud, but work towards its all-round growth and development.

Comrade Eboh who gave the caution on Sunday September 25 at Okere-Urhobo, Warri during the swearing-in of the Taskforce and Sanitation Committee, admonished various unions in Okere-Urhobo such as Electrical, Welding, Iron Benders, Labour and Plumber to carry their members along in their operations in the quest at bringing the much desired development to Okere-Urhobo Kingdom.

The OUDM President warned that any member of the Taskforce and Sanitation Committee that perpetrate any form of criminal activity will be shown the way out, saying the kingdom is known for peace and unity. 

He said, “the office you are occupying is unique, so any misbehavior is a disrespect to the Orosuen –In-Council and the entire kingdom”.

Responding, the newly sworn-in Chairman of the Community Taskforce, Comrade Ochuko  Maduku  and his Sanitation Committee counterpart, represented by the Vice Chairman, Comrade Nelson Edjeba  Okumagba pledged to work in synergy so as to promote the growth and development of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom .

They thanked Comrade Cyril Eboh and members of his executive for the opportunity to serve and promised not to betray the confidence reposed on them.
