Delta State born Aghogho Ajiyen who manufactures aircraft with locally sourced materials in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of the State says his only regret is being born a Nigerian.
Aghogho Ajiyen whose exploits was brought to the limelight about seven months ago by popular Nigeria TV, Channels Television said since the press conference he had with the Honourable Minister For Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, a couple of months ago, there has been no other contact with the Minister, except for occasional chats with the Minister’s Aide with nothing concrete in terms of developing on investing in his God-given talent.
He told Channels TV on Monday October 3 on phone, “my only regret is being born into a country where militancy and thuggery is the order of the day, instead of creativity”.
When asked if he has reached the Delta State Government, he responded in frustration that the situation was not any better, saying despite promises by a Commissioner in the State to communicate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, nothing concrete has been heard from the Delta State Government.
