One of the newly conferred Chiefs in the pristine Warri Kingdom and three-time Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Joseph Sisanmi Otumara says he knew his Chieftaincy conferment will be like a state-wide event.

Chief Joseph Otumara who was Saturday October 8 conferred with the title of ‘Obarisuwa’ of Warri Kingdom, declared that he has trained boys, men and women in politics as well as impacted positively on different people irrespective of their tribe and religion.

The ‘Obarisuwa’ of Warri Kingdom, Chief (Dr.) Joseph Otumara asserted that he will be more interested in the tradition and culture of his people henceforth.

Chief Otumara who spoke to Fresh Angle International in an exclusive interview in Warri shortly after his grandeur conferment, encouraged his political associates to be universally benevolent in order to enjoy the goodwill of men, even as he quipped that he has empowered people within and outside Delta State.

He appreciated the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli for the Chieftaincy title as well as his political associates, friends and well wishers for their support.

Wife of Chief Joseph Otumara, Mrs. Justina Otumara described the Chieftaincy conferment on her hubby “as an honour to do more for his people and others”.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that others who were conferred with Chieftaincy titles the same day with the PDP leader, Dr. Otumara are: Chief Clement Akpeto Malami (The Udefi of Warri) Dr. (Mrs.) Caroline Ajuyah (The  Olunuranran of Warri) and Chief Sam Amatotsero (The Oluyemi of Warri).

Prominent dignitaries at the event includes: Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, Senator representing Delta South Senatorial district at the Senate, Senator James Manager, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of Representatives, Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, Secretary to Delta State Government, Chief Ovie Agas, members of Warri Political Forum led by Hon.
