The Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA has commenced the rehabilitation of a-15km road network, spanning across Warri South, Uvwie, Udu and Ughelli South Local Government Areas in Delta State, Fresh Angle International checks can reveal.
The Site Supervisor of Wakema Construction Company, the firm handling the repair work for FERMA, Desmond Yisah, who spoke exclusively to Our Senior Correspondent Thursday March 9, said they are handling “chainage 0+00 to 15 + 700 from NPA bound to DSC bound by the Steel Town Complex”.
Desmond Yisah while assuring that the Managing Director of Wakema Construction Company, Engr. Ignatius Obiora is committed to ensuring that the road maintenance is completed by the end of March 2017 as stipulated by FERMA, assured that all the failed portions of the road network will be adequately fixed.
He appealed to commuters and other road users to obey the temporary diversion road signs in order to allow for free flow of vehicular traffic and timely completion of the job.
While noting that asphalt will be laid in all the failed portions, including the NPA-Ugbuwangue stretch of the NPA Expressway, Yisah commended FERMA for its commitment at ensuring Nigerian roads are safe for users.
