INYC felicitates with Ariyo on his Chieftaincy conferment

The Itsekiri National Youth Congress, INYC has felicitated with human rights’ activist and distinguished Itsekiri patriot, Barr. Robinson Ariyo for being found worthy to be conferred with Chieftaincy title in the prestine Warri Kingdom by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli.

President of INYC, Comrade Esimaje Awani in a statement released in Warri Thursday September 14, described Barr. Ariyo as a true patriot of Iwere Nation and a dogged fighter for justice, no matter the political or ethnic divide.

According to Esimaje, the Chieftaincy conferment which is slated for Saturday September 16 at the Olu Palace in Warri, is an eloquent testimony that genuine service of Itsekiri Nation comes with its own reward, adding that the Warri Monarch’s recognition of Barr. Ariyo’s patriotism and hardwork will spur young Itsekiris to remain faithful to Iwere struggle.

He enjoined Barr. Ariyo to see the Chieftaincy conferment as an opportunity to redouble his service to Warri Kingdom, noting that there is no better time to offer one’s professional competence and knowledge than now when Itsekiri is faced with challenges from within and outside.

Comrade Awani thanked the Olu for honouring distinguished Itsekiri sons and daughters, calling on Itsekiris youths worldwide to continually channel their energies and resources toward the development of Warri Kingdom.
