Okowa’s men settle Ohaneze crisis in Delta

The leadership crisis which rocked the Delta South and Delta Central Senatorial districts of Ohaneze Ndigbo has been settled by two of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s Aides, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.

Two Ohaneze Chiefs, Chief Jude Chiedozie and Barr. Eze Egwuatu were embroiled in battle on who is the real President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Delta South/Central before the Executive Assistant, Political to Governor Okowa, Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana and Special Assistant to Dr. Okowa on Non Indigenes’ Affairs, Nze Francis Onuora waded in and set up an 8-man committee to resolve the issue after extensive dialogue.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that following the resolution of the crisis, one of the hitherto factional leaders, Barr. Eze Egwuatu will now lead the Pan Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization pending the conduct of a fresh election soonest.

Delta State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Bright Edejegro who witnessed the historical peaceful resolution weekend at the Governor’s Office Annexe in Warri, stated that Delta State will be more peaceful with the amicable resolution of the leadership crisis, adding that it will enable Igbos enjoy more dividends from the Okowa administration.

He commended Dr. Mafiana, Nze Onuora and other stakeholders for the resolution of the leadership imbroglio.

Nze Onuora described the resolution of the Ohaneze Ndigbo crisis as a dream actualized and commended others who contributed to the restoration of peace.
