Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, says shutting down of schools by state governors, while parents still go to work could be counterproductive.
The First Lady, who dropped the warning this morning via a tweet, noted that pupils and students, should not be isolated and their parents exposed as the coronavirus pandemic claims more lives and continually crumble the world economy.
She tweeted: “It is commendable that state governors have closed down schools; however, this could be counterproductive if parents are still going to work. We should not isolate students and expose their parents. Let us remember that they will meet at home.”
