Okowa's appointment as head of FG's Post COVID - 19 Economic Team, Trailblazing - Omimi

The Political Adviser to Delta State Governor , Omimi Esquire, has described the appointment of Governor lfeanyi Okowa by Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, as head of the federal government,s post Covid 19 economic recovery team as "trailblazing" and further proof of the Governor,s ability to manage resources.

Omimi Esquire, in a statement , said the Governor,s sound economic management policies which led to Delta being recognized recently by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, as well as numerous CBN and other awards in his Job creation programmes have fully crystallized into federal government,s recognition.

The Political Adviser said Gov Okowa,s ability to brave adverse economic odds and FasTrack development since the inception of his administeation in 2015 when the nation went into recession further lends credence to the fact that "my Boss is a man on top of his game". Said Omimi Esquire: "I celebrate our visionary Governor on his choice by the federal government to head the post Covid 19 economic recovery team . This has not only demonstrated clearly that Okowa is a gifted manager of men and resources, but has also shown that the successes recorded in the socio economic sector in Delta is no fluke. With giant successes in job and wealth creation, enviable fiscal policies and prudent management of resources that has culminated in several local and national awards, this recognition of my Governor is surely a well deserved icing on his cake of economic policy achievements.
