Hadiza Bala Usman

The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, Hadiza Bala Usman, says Nigeria is losing larger vessels, because the average port depth is 13meters, which is against the global average of 16 meters.

In a statement obtained this morning, Thursday December 3, from the twitter handle of NPA, by Fresh Angle International, Hadiza Usman, disclosed that seven of the hoodlums, who attacked NPA assets during the EndSARS protest, have been arrested and are being investigated, adding that CCTV footage had captured most vandalism that took place.

According to her, all major properties of NPA are fully insured and the ports’ authority is: “Going into the process of getting our insurance claims”.
