The Provost of College of Education, Warri, COEWA, says her management team introduced Entrepreneurship Programme in the institution, because of the directive of the Executive Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, “that students who are leaving the tertiary institution, should leave with skills that could be developed into a trade or business, which will make them earn a living, instead of moving around, waiting for employment”.

Public Relations Officer of COEWA, Vusi Owarieta Enakarhire, reports that Prof. Edema, gave the explanation during the 2nd Edition of College of Education Warri Skills Fair/Exhibition, held Thursday March 4.

Fresh Angle International understands that the six categories of skills available for the Entrepreneurship Programme are; Poultry, Fine Cropping, Welding & Fabrication, Electrical, Food & Confectionery, Clothing & Textile and Tye & Dye.
