The remains of late (Mrs.) Felicia Omavowan Oki was on Friday April 13 laid to rest at her ancestral home-town, Ugborikoko in Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State amid tears and eulogies from her children, family members as well as well-wishers.

The funeral activities of late Mrs. Felicia Omavowan Oki began Thursday April 12 at her residence in Okuokoko, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State with a service of songs organized by Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Jesus House Parish, Okuokoko.

It was followed by her interment Friday April 13 and a thanksgiving service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Jesus House Parish, Okuokoko, Delta Province 6, Region 23.

The Assistant Pastor, Olaitan Adedeji who spoke in a sermon titled “All Will Be Well” admonished the children of late Mrs. Oki to anchor their faith and trust in God at all times and call upon God for sustenance, protection as well as provision.

Pastor Adedeji prayed for the entire family of late Mrs. Felicia Oki.

Her son in-law, Engr. Dave Moore said he will surely miss late Felicia Oki, especially in the area of her good African delicacies.

According to Engr. Moore, late Mrs. Oki was a good woman with good heart, just as he expressed optimism that one day everyone will meet her again.

The second daughter of late Felicia Oki, Mrs. Joy Moore, said she will greatly miss her mother and described her as a rare gem who always cared for them. Other children that spoke are: the eldest daughter, Gladys Oki, Solomon Oki and friends.

Late Felicia Omavowa Oki is survived by an aged mother, Davweghren Mivwose, husband, Pa. Thomas Oki, six children, five grandchildren and a son in-law, Engr. Dave Moore. The children are: Gladys Oki, Mrs. Joy Moore, Solomon Oki, Samson Oki, Edith Oki and Becky Oki.
