Peoples Democratic Party Candidate for Warri South Constituency 1 in the March 2 Governorship and House of Assembly elections, Dr. Augustine Uroye has assured his constituents that he has the capacity to deliver dividends of democracy if elected at the forthcoming polls.

Fresh Angle International can report that Dr. Uroye gave the assurance Friday January 4 at Oghara, headquarters of Ethiope West Local Government Area, Delta State, during the Delta State PDP flag-off campaign/presentation of flags to all PDP candidates in the state ahead of the February 16 and March 2 polls.

According to him, his experience as ex-Secretary to Warri South Local Government, SLG and former Warri South Council Transition Committee Chairman, will come handy in attracting development to his constituency as well as the business of lawmaking.

While describing Warri South Constituency 1 as the most industrialized and cosmopolitan, Dr. Uroye expressed optimism of victory at the poll and appealed to his constituents to come out enmasse to vote PDP 5/5 at the general elections.

Former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori urged Anioma people to stand behind Dr. Okowa in the quest at ensuring his victory and commended the governor “for a good job done so far”, adding that Urhobos will support Okowa at the polls.

Chief Ibori appealed to PDP members to shun anything capable of distracting them as they embark on the reelection bid of Dr. Okowa.

Delta State Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa assured that his administration will soon commence drainage project in Warri and its environs, saying the state was the first to implement National Health Insurance Scheme in Nigeria to take care of workers and others resident in the state.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that others who spoke at the campaign flag off included PDP candidate for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, Delta State PDP Chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire, Former Deputy Governor, Chief Benjamin Elue, Senator Stella Omu and Prof. Amos Utuama.
