World renowned Nigerian Music Crooners, Wizkid, Banky Wellington A.K.A Banky W and Patoranking, took to their twitter handles this afternoon (Wednesday November 20) to celebrate fast-rising fellow Nigerian Artiste, Burna Boy, following his Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album.
Burna Boy with the album titled: African Giant, Altin Gun (Album: GECE) Bokate & Metropole Orkest, conducted by Jules Buckley (Album: Wheat Heat) Nathalie Joachim with Spektral Quartet (Album: FANM D’AYATI) and Benin Republic-Born Angelique Kidjo, with the album titled: CELIA, have been nominated for Best World Music Album, in the forth-coming Grammy Awards.
Fresh Angle International can report that the award, is for albums containing at least 51% playing time of new vocal or instrumental World Music recordings.
