2027: People of Warri North have no alternative to Tinubu, Oborevwori – Says Ashima

Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Hon. Festus Ani-Ashima, says people of Warri North Local Government, have no alternative to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, as far as the 2027 general election is concerned.

According to the Warri North Local Government Boss, both leaders have demonstrated purposeful leadership, through impactful governance and development initiatives.

Our Warri North Correspondent, reports that Hon. Ani-Ashima made the declaration Wednesday July 29, when the Warri North political leadership received the Delta State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, and members of his entourage in Koko, the headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area.

Hon. Festus Ani-Ashima, assured the visitors that Warri North would deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the forthcoming general elections.

He noted that President Tinubu's administration has continued to pursue major infrastructure projects across the country, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, ongoing road rehabilitation, expansion of critical transportation infrastructure, and reforms aimed at strengthening the nation's economy.

The Warri North Local Government Chief Executive, added that Governor Oborevwori, through his MORE Agenda, has continued to execute road construction and rehabilitation projects, improve schools and healthcare facilities, and expand infrastructure across Delta State.

"We have no alternative because both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori have accomplished so much and exceeded public expectations. The reward for good work is more work," the chairman declared.

Speaking earlier, the Warri North Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Jolomi Esiategiwa, commended the State Coordinator for what he described as a strategic working visit, assuring him that Warri North remains fully prepared for the 2027 electoral task.

He stated that the victory of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori would begin from Warri North, adding: "Your visit today is a clear demonstration of your determination to strengthen our grassroots structures by ensuring that every unit and ward is fully prepared for the task ahead in 2027. We will not disappoint you."

APC candidate for Warri North Constituency II in the forthcoming poll, Hon. Kari Ebipade, who promised to work in the rain and sun to ensure the victory of the party, declared Warri North as an APC stronghold come rain come shine.

In their separate remarks, Political Leadership in the local government like the Delta State Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Isaac Wikie, Hon. Victor Dudu, APC Chairman, Warri North Local Government Area, Hon. Solomon Mikie, the Incumbent Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Florence Bisina, Koko Community Trust Chairman, Dr. Chris Eburajolor, and Koko Youth Chairman. Mr. Philip Daibo and others, assured the State Coordinator and his team of unity of purpose, their unwavering commitment and fervent determination to deliver from the presidency to the least candidates of the party in Warri North Local Government Area.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors delegation was received by top party leaders, captains of industry, traditional and religious leaders, opinion leaders, representatives of various pressure groups, members of the Arewa community, and different trade union groups across the council area, all of whom reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
