The Royal Ambassadors, RA of Nigeria, Providence-Delta Baptist Conference says the achievements of out-going Warri South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema despite the current economic challenge in the country “were traceable to ingenuity, committed and astute leadership”.

The Director, Royal Ambassadors of Nigeria, Providence-Delta Baptist Conference, Counsellor Efeturi Kori-Siakpere made the assertion Wednesday October 11 at the Warri South Council Main Secretariat in Warri when he led top members of the R.A Command in Delta State on a courtesy visit to Hon. Mofe Edema.

While noting that the two-time Warri South Council Boss is the only non-Baptist member that is a Patron of Royal Ambassadors, Counsellor Kori-Siakpere recalled how Hon. Edema left huge sum of money in Warri South Council coffers at the end of his first tenure and enumerated some of the achievements of the organization “geared towards making real men out of boys”.

He solicited the assistance of Hon. Edema in the procurement of some items needed by the RA in its village mission outreaches and anti-social vices campaign.

In his brief response, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema described the visit as prophetic, disclosing that his decision to wear the RA uniform during his second term swearing-in as Chairman of Warri South Local Government was to honour God.

He admonished members of the organization to be true ambassadors of Jesus Christ, stressing that their attitude must reflect that of God.

Hon. Edema, who is popularly known as ‘Man of God,’ promised to address one of the demands of the Royal Ambassadors, noting that he will not stop supporting them as he moves ahead in the service of humanity.
