All Progressives Congress, APC Candidate for Warri South Constituency 1 in the last general elections, Prince Stanley Oritsemolebi Emiko, says the emergence of Ahmed Lawan as Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege as Deputy Senate President, Femi Gbajabiamila as Speaker of the House of Representatives and Ahmed Wase as Deputy Speaker of the 9th National Assembly, will facilitate actualization of the Next Level agenda by the Presidency.
An elated Emiko who gave the assurance shortly after election of the new National Assembly leaders, posited that contrary to insinuations that their emergence would make the National legislature a rubber stamp, "the new leadership is made up of men of integrity, experience, exposure and deep-rooted patriotism, hence they will work in synergy with the executive to fast-track budget proposal, provide genuine oversight and ratify appointments in good time, unlike the experience of the 8th Senate".
The APC Chieftain while expressing excitement that for the first time, a Deltan in the person of Ovie Omo-Agege has risen to the position of Deputy Senate President, prayed God to give the new APC led NASS leadership, "the needed wisdom, strength and resources to make the Nigerian legislature one that will be envied by sister-Nations".
