Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, is in Kubau Local Government Area of the state to perform the groundbreaking ceremony of the Damau Milk Farm Project, a partnership with Danish dairy giant Arla.
The project which marks the implementation of the MoU signed on 9 September 2019 by KDSG and Arla, is, “to sedentarise pastoralists, modernize livestock production and address security problems”.
This project aims to help transform livestock production from a culture into a business that demonstrates the productive appeal of settling pastoralists in commercially viable farms, with better tools, improved cattle breeds and an established off-taker.
