A foremost political pressure group in Warri South Local Government, PDP Faithful of Okere- Urhobo has given plaudits to Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for his revitalized development strides, particularly the ongoing Phase II dualization of Okumagba Avenue stretching to Deco Road.
Arising from an emergency meeting held at Otor-Orere in Warri, the PDP Faithful of Okere-Urhobo commended Governor Uduaghan’s determination to improve secondary healthcare and education across the state, especially in Warri the commercial nerve centre of Delta State.
In a statement made available to newsmen at the end of the meeting weekend, the group wished Dr. Uduaghan, members of his family and all Deltans a peaceful Yuletide celebrations as well as a prosperous 2014.
The statement which was signed by the group’s chairman, Comrade Femi Okumagba, its secretary who is a member of Warri South Local Government Transition Committee, Mr. Alex Eda as well as its PRO, Mr. Emmanuel Eminokanju, also appealed to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to prevail on the relevant ministry to address the deplorable state of internal roads at Otor-Orere so as to complement the ongoing dualization of Okumagba Avenue to Deco Road being constructed by the state government.
