The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai, on Saturday February 8, fired the starter pistol of 5th Access Bank Lagos City Marathon at the National Stadium Lagos. The COAS signaled the start of the 42km race at exactly 6.30 a.m.
He was accompanied by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Segun Dawodu, GOC 81 Div NA, Maj Gen Olubunmi Irefin and some senior military officers.
