Ex- Delta AG demands fixing of bad roads in Emadadja Community

Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Delta State, Chief Andrew Oghene-Aga Orugbo says it is time for Delta State government to fix all roads in the “oil rich Emadadja Community”, just as he called on parents to give their children sound education in other for
them to compete favourably with their counterparts anywhere in the world.

The one-time Udu local government chairman made the call at the just concluded Annual Communal Conference held in Emadadja Community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta.

Chief Orugbo, who was also a one-time Delta State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs pointed out that the cottage hospital built by a joint venture multinational company in the community is partially operational, stressing that there are no staff working in the cottage hospital.

He called on Emadadja Community leaders to "maintain, sustain and service their age long relationship with Ubogo, Ugbisi, Obubu, Ekrota and Ukperheren Communities that make up the Adadja Sub-Clan and ruling house”, noting that the community needs "peace and security, good and qualitative education, functional and standard health facilities, portable water, good network of roads, steady power supply, effective transportation system as well as gainful employment for its youths”.

In an address, Emadadja Community President, Comrade Sunday .E. Subi said his administration will bring about "high level development, progress in revenue generation, basic amenities of life, peace and tranquility (especially in land dispute) human capital development of its teeming youths as well as revamp the socio-economic sectors of the community" only if all hands are in support of his administration.
