Individuals, institutions and other business concerns, that placed wooden signage along the median of major roads and roundabouts in Warri South and Uvwie Local Government Areas, have been given two weeks ultimatum to remove them, as part of safety measures and the urban renewal efforts of the Delta State Government.

The Delta State Signage and Advertisement Agency, DESAA, in its determination to ensure full compliance as well as streamlining of a uniform standard, authorized RITZ INK MEDIA, as the sole agent to administer the placement of fitted iron advert frames along major roads and streets in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun.

Creative Director of RITZ INK MEDIA, Oritsetemisan Ojabo, in a chat with newsmen, explained that the new direction by DESAA, would greatly reduce the felling of trees for construction of advert frames and ultimately restore the aesthetics of the local government areas and save- guard the natural plants / trees necessary for filtering air pollution.
