The member representing Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, has advised his constituents to obey the stay - at - home order declared by government, saying the essence is to contain the spread of Coronavirus and not meant to punish Nigerians.
The lawmaker who announced donation of his two months salary as part of his contributions toward fighting against the COVID - 19 Pandemic, advised people of Warri Federal Constituency to adhere to the advisory on social distancing , even though there has been no confirmed case of Coronavirus in Delta State.
He stressed the need for Nigerians, especially people of Warri Federal Constituency to wash their hands always, use sanitizer, keep personal hygiene and avoid false alarm in the resolve to fight the COVID - 19 pandemic.
While expressing optimism that Coronavirus would soon be defeated by the grace of God, the federal lawmaker charged researchers in the medical field to up their game so as to quickly end the loss of human and economic lives caused by the COVID - 19 plague.
