The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli has sent his sincere and deepest condolences to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on the passing of his very hard working chief of staff, Abba Kyari.
In a terse statement issued from his palace Sunday morning, the Olu recalled the few times he met the late Kyari whilst on courtesy visits to the president in Abuja, and affirmed that the chief of staff came across as a very self effacing and unassuming, yet very strong spirit behind the throne.
He enjoined the president to take solace in the fact that the man lived his life for God and country, shunning undue publicity and focusing more on how to make Nigeria a better place for all of us under the watch of his boss.
He prayed that God Almighty will grant his family and all those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Ogiame Ikenwoli further appealed to all Nigerians to take the issue of the Coronavirus pandemic as seriously as it deserves, and continue to strictly follow all protocols laid down by the NCDC and the WHO. He prayed that God almighty will intercede in the matter, heal our land and bring us peace and plenty under President Buhari.
