PDP Chieftain, Aziz commends Okowa's tougher measures against COVID - 19

Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South Local Government Area and member of the board of Delta Printing and Publishing Company, Mrs. Toju O. Aziz, has commended Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for initiating what she described as tougher measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus in Delta State.

 

Mrs. Aziz, who mentioned the dusk to dawn curfew announced by Dr. Okowa in the state and the governor's resolve to sponsor an executive bill to make the wearing of face mask compulsory in public places as some of the strict measures initiated to contain the spread of COVID - 19, enjoined security agencies to diligently implement the lockdown order.

 

The former woman leader of Ekurede Itsekiri/ Ugbori Ward in Warri South Local Government, in a telephone chat emphasised the need for Deltans to maintain personal hygiene, eat food that would boost their immunity and be conscious of the advisory on social distancing.

 

She also gave plaudits to Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Michael Tidi,for his relentless struggle towards ensuring that people of the council area stay safe during this trying period.
