Oghotomo Never Invaded Jifas Residence With Thugs - Councilor, CAN VP
Chief Samuel Oghotomo

Following reports that Chief Samuel Oghotomo, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters invaded the residence of Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon with thugs, Hon. Prince Kenneth Ogbon, Councilor, Olomu Ward I and Apostle Josiah Ogbon, said the allegation was false and has no iota of truth in it.

In a separate chat with the duo at Ogoni-Olomu, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta state, they said Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon is only trying to tarnish the name of Chief Samuel Oghotomo to pave way for him to become leader of the ward.

Hon. Prince Kenneth Ogbon, Councillor representing Ughelli South DSIEC Ward 7 (Olomu Ward 1) said the allegations that Chief Oghotomo invaded the home of Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon, was not true, saying that Jifas called him on phone the said day that Chief Oghotomo sent some persons to attack him and directed me to call the Vigilante chairman of Olomu, Mr. Daniel Aganre to confirm, "when I called him, he told me there was nothing like that".

He stressed that he learnt that Chief Oghotomo only went to Ogoni-Olomu with few friends to visit a friend unarmed, and they didn't attack anybody.

He pointed out that Prince Jifas Ogbon is trying to create problem in the ward in order for him to have his way, "even as I speak to you, he brought some armed men to Ogoni-Olomu last Wednesday between 10pm-11pm and they were shooting sporadically which the vigilante chairman confirmed".

Apostle Josiah Ogbon, Vice Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Ughelli South Local Government Area chapter, on his part said he only saw Chief Oghotomo on the other side of the road and they didn't go close to Sunny Jefas residence because "as a clergy man I cannot say what I didn't see, I only saw Oghotomo with friends having good time together, there was never any incident of unrest or invasion of a resident as alleged by Prince Jifas Ogbon.

According to him, what we experienced was on Wednesday night when a Toyota Picnic bus filled with armed men entered the community, and started shooting sporadically for over 15 minutes and we later found out that it was Prince Jifas Ogbon that brought them.

The duo of Hon. Prince Kenneth Ogbon and Apostle Josiah Ogbon advise him to thread carefully when trying to occupy political position. "He should stop fermenting trouble and learn to respect others, especially those who are ahead of him in politics".
