Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report that as at this morning, Wednesday May 6, a total of 1,900 deaths have been recorded in Africa as a result of the ravaging coronavirus.
The latest fatalities as reported by the World Health Organization, WHO African Region via its Twitter handle, revealed an additional deaths of 300 persons between Saturday May 2 and today, Wednesday May 6.
This Newspaper had reported fatalities of 1,600 COVID-19 associated deaths as at Saturday May 2.
WHO African Region in its tweet this morning, also disclosed that there are currently, “over 49,000 confirmed COVID19 cases on the African continent - with more than 16,000 associated recoveries”.
