Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, today Saturday May 9, threatened to impound unauthorized vehicles entering Delta State in violation of President Muhammadu Buhari's directive and prosecute owners of such vehicles.
Dr. Okowa, handed down the threat when he paid an unscheduled visit to the inter - state boundaries to assess the level of compliance in regards to President Buhari's directive to restrict all inter - state movement of essential goods, services and personnel.
He stated: "During my assessment, I reiterated that this restriction is necessary to contain the spread of #COVID19, hence, all unauthorized vehicles entering the state in violation of the directive will be impounded, and their owners prosecuted."
