The fight against Coronavirus on Monday May 11, received major boost in Warri South Local Government as Chairman of Warri South, Dr. Michael Tidi, inaugurated Hypo Disinfecting Tunnel at a major entrance of Igbudu Market, Warri.
Dr. Tidi, who described the hygiene tunnel as a dream fulfilled in the effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the area, especially in Warri major markets, expressed gratitude to the management of Hypo for the gesture.

While acknowledging that most people are not aware of the fast spread of Coronavirus, the Warri South Council Boss, noted that it was better to be safe and healthy than to go for treatment.
He challenged the market union’s leadership to encourage traders and buyers in the market to make use of the hygiene tunnel.

A representative of Hypo, Festus Oroh, explained that Warri South Local Government was one of the places they embarked on the project, imploring traders and buyers in the market to make effective use of the hygiene tunnel so as to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Chairman of Warri South, Dr. Tidi, Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, Supervisors and the Council’s Head of Personnel Management, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Igbrude as well as Officials of Hypo, went through the tunnel, immediately after the commissioning.
