One of Nigeria's controversial artistes with massive fan base, particularly among the youths, Naira Marley has described the ongoing protests across the United States and several other countries, against the inhuman murder of George Floyd and racism generally as the cure for Coronavirus.
Recall that Derek Chauvin, a Police Officer in Minneapolis, murdered George Floyd by kneeling on his neck for about nine minutes in the presence of three other officers, after the huge framed Floyd was handcuffed.
The killing of George Floyd, who wasn't armed and no criminal case established against him, sparked off wide protests in the United States and have spread to other parts of the world, with many seeing it as the height of racial abuse against blacks, especially African - Americans.
Naira Marley in his reaction to the growing anti - racism protests, tweeted : "Thanks to every protester out there. Y’all found the cure for corona."
Several of Naira Marley's followers, described the tweet as , "very good".
