The Member representing Delta Central Senatorial District and Deputy Senate President, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, says he is rewriting the history of Urhobo people with their support, Fresh Angle International can report.
The lawmaker, who made the declaration in a statement released today, Thursday June 11, to mark, “one year in Office as the democratically-elected Senator, representing the Urhobo People of Delta Central Senatorial District”, averred: “The past one year has shown the true spirit of the Urhobo People. Through your solidarity and great support, we are gradually moving out of the socioeconomic and sociopolitical abasement that once characterized our history. And more than ever before, I am deeply committed to doing what is right for our People”.
While noting that, “the Urhobo Nation is on a forward march”, “notwithstanding the several challenges we have encountered”, DSP Omo-Agege, stated, “I have excitedly been using this second opportunity of serving you to consolidate on the achievements of my first term”.
