Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, says his administration is anchored on the principle of separation of power and robust relationship with the workforce.
Dr. Tidi, who made the assertion in a statement to mark this year's democracy day, explained that the policy of his leadership which provides the right atmosphere for the council's legislative arm to carry out its constitutional function without interference from the executive and encourage a mutually engaging relationship with the workers' union, are basic tenets of democracy needed for effective grassroots development.
The Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, assured that his administration will continually place high premium on policies and programmes that will enhance democratic growth and promote genuine political participation geared towards accelerated development irrespective of the obvious challenges created by the COVID - 19 pandemic.
