Ughelli North Local Government Primary Health Care Authority, has shutdown Odovie Primary Health Center, PHC, Odovie, Christ Liberation Church, Oviri Ogor Road, Otovwodo, Ughelli and Mercy Classic Saloon, Afiesere Road, Ughelli indefinitely, “ for their contact with confirmed cases of COVID – 19”.
A statement authored by the Executive Secretary of Ughelli North Local Government Primary Health Care Authority, Dr. Uyovwiesevwa J., warned: “All attendees or contacts to any of the above mentioned should proceed on self – isolation for 2 weeks and where they develop symptoms, they should get to Central Hospital Ughelli for sample collection and testing”.
The statement dated June 22 and obtained by Fresh Angle International, noted : “ The rate of spread in our LGA is presently alarming, consequently every health centre are by this notice warned to refer every suspected cases to the Central Hospital, Ughelli for sample collection and testing”.
