8th Regular Course: Police fixes computer based test for September 17


 

The Delta State Police Command, says the selection examination for admission into the 8th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano, will be computer based, adding that the examination has been scheduled for Thursday 17th September 2020, across the federation.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the examination shall comprise of a General Paper (Section A) which is compulsory for all candidates, while other sections are to be selected according to candidate’s faculty of choice.

The statement added: “Eligible candidates are to bring along to the examination venue their acknowledgement form, examination card, current JAMB results slip and two postcard size photograph (3.5X5) inches which should show only from the chest upwards. At the back of each of the two passport photographs, the candidates must write their name, state of origin, examination centre and signature.

“Candidates are kindly requested to check their emails regularly for downloading and printing of their respective examination card.

“Only candidates who meet the academy’s cut-off mark of 180 in UTME and above are eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy selection examination at the 19 designated centres listed below:

Abuja: GSS Tundun Wada, Wuse Zone 4 by NEPA ((AEDC)   office.

Adamawa: Federal College of Education Yola.

Edo: Daniet Global Resources, 67 Abu Aminu Avenue by Mouka Foam, Upper Mission Extension Benin City.

Kaduna: National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) along Zaria Road Kaduna.

Kano: Kano University of Science & Tech. (KUST), along Gaya Road, Wudil – Kano

Benue: ETC Centre North Care, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

 Borno: University of Maiduguri ETC Center, Bama Road, Maiduguri.

Sokoto: Usman Dan-Foldio University Sokoto (UDUS)

Niger: Federal University of Tech. Minna, Gidan Kwana, Mina campus, Bida Road.

Kogi: Yabma International Science Adademy, Lokoja.

Plateau: Unijos Consultancy Ltd, CBT Centre, old Campus, Murtala Muh’d Way Jos.

Bauchi: Dict Abtu Yalwa Campus, Bauch.

Lagos: JKK House, 229 Ikorodu, Ilupeju Lagos.

Oyo: University of Ibadan ETC Centre, Ibadan

Rivers: Diamond Pick-Up Ltd CBT Centre, 89 Stadium Road, Elekahia, Port-Harcourt

Imo: SWINTEC Computer Institute, No. 519 Hospital/Orlu Road, Owerri.

“The Police Academy Commandant, Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG, Zanna Ibrahim, mni has advised candidates to comply with COVID-19 cautionary measures. He also warned against bribery, saying admission is free.

“Beware of scammers, don’t give bribe. Anyone caught will be disqualified, shun examination malpractices as offenders will be prosecuted” he vows.

“Candidates are to visit the academy website www.polac.edu.ng for further information, please”.
